The Department of ECE in association with the IETE Students Forum, IEEE Student Branch – LICET, SEA, and The Electronics Club, is organizing the Industry-Academia Conclave 2026 in G01 by 9:00 AM on 29/09/26. The panel discussion is entitled, “Smart Machines, Fair Society: The Engineer’s New Mandate”. The panel discussion shall explore the evolving role of engineers in shaping responsible and inclusive technologies. The session will bring together industry and academic perspectives on how ECE engineers can balance innovation with ethics, fairness, safety, and societal impact.
