INTERNATIONAL TIES

Students of LICET will have ample opportunities for international exposure through student-exchange programs as well as higher studies in universities abroad to gain confidence to face the future with preparedness and readiness. Apart from ICAM in France, our students have opportunities to go to USA, Germany, UK and Spain for summer projects.

In addition to having ICAM as its partner Institute, LICET has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the following Universities, for academic and research collaboration.

The scope of the MoU encompasses sending select students to these Universities during summer to do some research projects. Students would be given research topics and asked to work under the supervision of a Professor. Some of the works done in these universities have been published by our students in International Journals.

Founded in the year 1898 by the Soceity of Jesus, ICAM offers Engineering Degrees (Master level) in Engineering. Located in six cities in France, ICAM is a one of the ‘Grand School’ of Toulouse Tech and is accredited by CTI, Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur, and is a member of CGE, Conférence des Grandes Ecoles. Academic activities and industrial applied research are performed mainly in French and English languages. Students from a dozen of nationalities participate to the different curricula at ICAM.

Comillas Pontifical University, established in 1890 is a private university in Madrid, Spain. It is a Catholic University, run by the Society of Jesus and is the only Spanish University that appears in the Times Higher Education 2013 ranking The university is involved in a number of academic exchange programmes, work practice schemes and international projects with over 200 institutions of higher education in Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia.

Established in 1961, Hochschule Heilbronn (Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Heilbronn, Germany. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Künzelsau and and Schwäbisch Hall. Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst Baden-Württemberg (Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Württemberg), Hochschule Heilbronn (HHN) is a coeducational higher education institution. It ranks among the major institutions of Higher Education in Germany.

Fairfield University is a private Jesuit university in Fairfield, Connecticut. It was founded by the Jesuits in 1942.
