Overview

The FabLab at LICET (Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology) is a dynamic hub for innovation and creativity. Equipped with state-of-the-art tools and technologies such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, and electronics workstations, it provides students and faculty with the resources needed to turn their ideas into reality. The FabLab fosters a collaborative environment where individuals from diverse disciplines can come together to learn, explore, and prototype innovative solutions to real-world challenges. With expert guidance and support, users can develop their technical skills and unleash their creativity, making the FabLab a vibrant center for hands-on learning and innovation at LICET.

3D Printer

The MK3 Prusa 3D printer in our fablab is a reliable and versatile machine known for its precision and ease of use. Paired with PrusaSlicer software, it offers advanced features for optimizing print settings and achieving high-quality results. Its affordability and regular firmware updates make it a popular choice for both beginners and experienced users in our fablab, enabling efficient prototyping and production of various designs with consistency and precision.
