About
Make A Difference (MAD) is an interdisciplinary student innovation club established in 2018 at Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology (LICET). The club was founded with the vision of nurturing innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility among engineering students. MAD serves as a dynamic platform where students from all departments collaborate to transform ideas into impactful engineering solutions through experiential learning, research, product development, and community engagement.
Guided by the motto “Learn by Doing and Implementing,” the club encourages students to think beyond classroom learning by engaging in real-world engineering challenges, innovation-driven projects, technical competitions, hackathons, workshops, startup initiatives, and outreach activities. The club strongly believes that engineering should not only solve technical problems but also contribute meaningfully to society.
MAD provides students with opportunities to enhance their technical competencies, leadership abilities, teamwork, communication skills, and entrepreneurial mindset while preparing them to become responsible engineers, innovators, and future leaders.
