OpenWeaver commits to conducting bootcamps and workshops tofamiliarize startups with effective product development on the platform, fostering aculture of innovation. Additionally, initiatives like Makeathons, Hackathons, and similarevents will be organized to encourage continuous learning and collaborative projects. ATrain the Trainer Programme will empower LICET faculty to guide students in utilizing OpenWeaver effectively. The partnership extends to providing students with internship and field study opportunities, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. OpenWeaver will contribute by delivering guest lectures to enhance students' industry readiness, and LICET students will be assigned live projects and research assignments to gain practical experience. This MoU underscores the commitment of both parties to create a collaborative ecosystem fostering innovation,entrepreneurship, and skill development, ensuring mutual growth and success.

In a collaborative effort to enhance the technological landscape at Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology, Viral Fission commits to the development of Campus Vi-Fi, an advanced network infrastructure, applicable for a duration of 12 months. This initiative includes the provision of a custom dashboard on the Vi-Fi app exclusively for the campus, along with individual login accounts for every student to access the Campus Vi-Fi services. Viral Fission further pledges to deliver custom curated experiences, offering a total of 9 experiences per year, including options such as VF Turf, The Refresher, and Dive (Hackathons & Tech-based Seminars/Workshops),allowing LICET the flexibility to choose experiences based on their preferences.Academic and educational benefits will be provided throughout the year, subject to availability, encompassing access to free courses, brand campaigns, CV building through CVI, and the unique opportunity for students to utilize Runway. As a commitment to practical learning, Viral Fission guarantees a minimum of 1 student from LICET as a paid intern for a duration of at least 3 months per year. This MoU underscores the mutual commitment to technological advancement and enriching educational experiences for LICET students through this dynamic collaboration.

LICET and Survey Sparrow enter into a collaborative partnership through thisMemorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a focus on industrial visits, training,projects, and internships. Survey Sparrow commits to providing valuable inputs to LICET in teaching and training methodologies, ensuring students are well-prepared for a seamless transition from academia to their professional careers. The collaboration includes facilitating industrial visits, allowing LICET students and faculty to gain practical insights into working methods and employment practices. Additionally, Survey Sparrow will select students for technical and in-plant training, delivered through online or offline modes for convenience. Selected students will adhere to all policies necessary to maintain the integrity of Survey Sparrow's IT security systems and confidential information. The partnership further entails support for guest lectures,bridging skill gaps and preparing students for industry requirements. In the realm of projects, Survey Sparrow will assign LICET students live projects, research problems,and development works to build confidence and meet selection criteria. LICET, in turn,commits to providing necessary facilities and resources to support students in completing these projects. The collaboration extends to internships and field studies in management, technology development, and marketing, with Survey Sparrow offering opportunities and inputs to LICET students. This comprehensive MoU symbolizes the commitment of both parties to enrich the educational journey of LICET students, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical industry experience.

This Memorandum of Understanding marks a collaborative initiative between NASSCOM and Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology (LICET) with the primary objective of facilitating relevant skills upgradation through training programs in emerging technologies for both students and faculty. The MoU envisions promoting continuous, self-paced learning for acquiring industry-relevant skill sets by providing byte-sized micro-learning content. Additionally, a diagnostic facility will be established to analyze candidates' aptitude and capabilities, guiding them towards suitable learning pathways. The collaborative effort aims to establish an inclusive 'one-stop up-skilling/reskilling solution' in emerging IT technologies, fostering a paradigm shift in the existing value chain through synergistic efforts. Innovative mechanisms such as 'skills passport,' 'skills wallet,' and 'badges' will be implemented to motivate and recognize aspirants based on their efforts in the skilling journey. LICET will internally build a talent pool by encouraging students and faculty to complete badges and certifications. The ultimate goal is to contribute to making India a digital talent hub. Furthermore, this engagement seeks to implement short-term awareness and skill competency development programs, including both free and paid Foundation and Deep Skilling courses in emerging technologies. By equipping students and faculty with specific skills aligned with today's digital landscape, this intervention ensures that they stay updated on key trends and challenges in the dynamic digital ecosystem.

Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology (LICET) and Infosys enter into a collaborative partnership through this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance the holistic development of students, empower women, advance the digital skills of working professionals, foster improved collaboration between teachers and learners, and extend learning benefits to underserved sections of society. Under this MoU, LICET students will have access to Infosys CodersZen, an innovative platform facilitating hands-on learning in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#,JavaScript, and more. Additionally, a dedicated microsite will be created to empower women with specialized resources and expert mentors, along with planned events for their holistic development.Working professionals associated with LICET will undergo specialized training to acquire advanced digital skills, preparing them for emerging roles. The virtual classroom capabilities of CodersZen will be leveraged by LICET to conduct regular online classes, enhancing the overall learning experience. Moreover, the platform's video-proctored exam environments will be utilized for online assessments, ensuring a secure and transparent evaluation process. This collaboration aims to equip LICET teachers with tools for better collaboration with learners, utilizing engagement features on the platform. To extend learning benefits to underserved communities, LICET and Infosys will work with NGOs, promoting inclusive education and bridging the digital divide. Both institutions commit to timely implementation and regular assessments to ensure the effectiveness of these initiatives, fostering a symbiotic relationship that contributes to the educational and societal advancement.

An industry academia conclave was held to give us insights on Data Science, how it reshapes the industry and the different career opportunities it offers. On the 06th of October 2023, an industry academia conclave on Data Science was organized by the Department of Information Technology of LICET. As we navigate through the data-centric era, the imperative need for businesses to embrace Data Science and equip students with its knowledge cannot be overstated. This gathering aimed to shed light on the exciting journey of Data Science, one that is already reshaping businesses, fostering innovation, and redefining industrial operations. Five guest speakers from different companies, who are working in the field of Data Science  were invited to give us insights. They helped the students in exploring the data-driven industrial world of tomorrow and understanding why embracing Data Science is not merely a choice but a necessity in the quest for success and innovation. A good learning platform was created due to the exposure given on the subject and the interaction established between the guests and the participants. The academia conclave was a huge success on the whole.

An academia conclave was held to take us through the process, requirements and effects of transitioning from a 4G to a 5G ruling world. On 20 th of May 2022, an industry academia conclave on 5G was organized by the Department of Information Technology of LICET. Five guest speakers from different companies, who are working towards establishing 5G cellular technology were invited to give us insights on the beneficial aspects and how the world would progress with this development. We were provided clear knowledge on the evolution, the working, the transition process, the prospects and all the other parameters that define 5G. The speakers ensured that they built our understanding one step at a time. A panel discussion took place after the lectures, where the students actively raised their questions. All of their queries were patiently answered by the panel members. A good comprehension on why the future requires 5G was given. A good learning platform was created due to the exposure given on the subject and the interaction established between the guests and the participants. The academia conclave was a huge success on the whole.

An industry academia conclave was held to provide insights on Cybersecurity, how it functions and the different career opportunities it offers On the 10 th of February 2023, an industry academia conclave on Cybersecurity was organized by the Department of Information Technology of LICET. Five guest speakers from different companies, who are working in the field of Cybersecurity were invited to give insights on the different kinds of cyberattacks, what their company does to rectify them and the process involved in establishing a safer network where people can protect their personal data. The students were also provided with clear knowledge on the career opportunities in this field. The speakers ensured that they built student’s understanding one step at a time. A panel discussion took place after the talk, where the students actively raised their questions. All the queries were patiently answered by the panel members. A good comprehension on the importance of Cybersecurity was given.A good learning platform was created due to the exposure given on the subject and the interaction established between the guests and the participants. The academia conclave was a huge success on the whole.
