40 LICET ISHRAE student members acted as volunteers for the smooth conduct of Refcold 23 at Nandambakkam between 12-14 October.

Students of Mechanical Engineering participated in BAJA 2024 in Pithampur Madhya Pradesh and successfully cleared the brake test.
AeroTHON Competition-2023
Students from Turbonites Team Delta participated in the AeroTHON 2023 a UAV design, fabrication & flying competition conducted by SAE INDIA Aerospace forum at S.J.C Institute of Technology, Chikkballapur, Karnataka after successfully clearing the Design Presentation phase held in June 2023. The students were able to make it to finals in the challengers category on 16th November 2023

Team phoenix participated in the ADDC 2023 conducted by SAE INDIA at KCG college of engineering and technology Chennai after successfully clearing the Design Presentation Phase & Technical presentation held in august 2023.

Immanuel Sam Pradeep S and Manikandan S of III Year Mechanical Engineering are selected from TINKATHON and attended the 3-day Residential Student Workshop @ IITM on 21st November 2023, Dharsahan od II year a won a cash price of 2500 rs in mini project
OZERI PROJECT (Mr Jackson)
Caitlyn Mary, Belfina Rose, Ryan Ralph and Santhosh Samuel of final year Mechanical Engineering completed a project from 28th February to 24th May for Commonpath LLC, USA in defending a patent for Ozeri Wine Opener and received a consultancy award of Rs 70000.
SAE Bicycle Design – 2023
Team Turbonites Bicycle Design division participated in the SAE Bicycle Design challenge held on 01/04/2023 & secured 3rd position in the special awards category in their debut year.
ISHRAE PROJECT GRANT (Mr John Mathuram)
Dhanush and Shahid Ahamed of IV year Mechanical Engineering won a project grant of Rs 25000 on “Reducing Carbon Emissions by Heat Recovery in Heat Pump” awarded by ISHRAE Chennai Chapter.

Sports Achievements
Silver Medal in the Anna University Inter zonal Squash tournament held at Kongunadu Engineering college Namakkal.
Tennis team emerged as champions in Anna University Inter Zone Championship
Lohith Aksha IV IT and Siddharth Arya III MECH at the Tamilnadu Chief minister Trophy Tennis doubles Champions and received the cash award of Rs 1 lakh each.
In Tennis Singles Lohith Aksha IV IT secured Silver Medal and received the cash award of Rs 75,000.
