Asmitha J of 2nd Year, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, S. R. Ashwathram, and A. Allen Remi of 2nd Year, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, secured the runner-up position in the All India Radio Contest and were awarded a cash prize of ₹2,500.

Asmita J, Ishrath Sherin, and Jeff Ruben of 2nd Year, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, along with Jefrina V and Prasinna of 2nd Year, Department of Information Technology, participated in the Google Gen AI Exchange Hackathon with their project SoulBuddy, an AI-powered youth mental wellness companion built using Google Cloud Generative AI and Firebase on 21/09/2025.

Eric Avner Joshua and Tanay Varghese Mathew from the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science won second place in Tech Tickle hosted by MAD Club on 01/11/2025.
Priyadharshini N from the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science won first prize, with a cash award of ₹5,000, in the Speech Competition organized by the NSS Club along with other clubs on the topic “Politicians Are Making Our Country Corrupted” on 14/11/2025.

Tanay Varghese Mathew, I Year AI & DS, secured First Prize (₹1000 cash award) in “Brand Power Play – Marketing King” (a surprise product marketing and branding competition) conducted as part of HORIZON – An Entrepreneurial Summit, co-hosted by the Rotaract Club at Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, Maduravoyal, on 24 January 2026.
Dalbert Joe, Asmita J, and Nandhini from the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science received a prize of ₹3,000 for being among the top 5 in the Infosys–PALS TechZooka Hackathon 2025 on 04/09/2025.
