Symposium
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science of Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology organized a one-day National Level Technical Symposium STRATA’25 on 23rd August 2025, Saturday. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and invited guests.
The symposium featured a variety of events, each designed to challenge different skill sets in the AI & DS domain as well as to encourage teamwork and strategic thinking:
1. Shogun Pitch: An idea presentation event where teams proposed innovative, real-world solutions before a panel of judges, showcasing creativity, feasibility, and impactful thinking.
2. Scroll Trace: A prompt-engineering challenge that tested participants’ logical reasoning and precision in generating accurate, theme-based outputs through structured rounds.
3. Stat Wars: A data-driven competition where participants applied statistics, probability, and analytical skills to solve dataset-based problems and build strategic teams.
4. Syntax Strike: A competitive coding event focused on debugging, algorithmic thinking, and solving real-time programming challenges.
5. Feudal Fortune: A strategy-oriented event where teams invested in patents and pitched innovative project ideas while incorporating tactical planning elements.
The symposium recorded 283 registrations, with 176 active participants, reflecting strong engagement and enthusiasm among students.
