IoT with Gen AI by Altsense Technology Services
A Value Added Course was organized by the Department of ECE-LICET on IoT with Gen AI for II year ECE between 05/09/25 and 13/09/25 by experts from Altsense Technology Services. The course introduced the basics of Python programming and hands-on learning with sensors and components such as IR sensors, buzzers, and NodeMCU for building IoT-based applications. Fundamentals of IoT design were covered including Python coding, working with ThingSpeak for data analysis, and App development through MIT App Inventor. Students developed an SOS Emergency App using MIT App Inventor.

VLSI Design by TARAS Systems
A Value Added Course was organized by the Department of ECE-LICET on VLSI Design for III year ECE between 08/09/25 and 13/09/25 by experts from TARAS Systems and Solutions. The course covered the fundamentals of VLSI design and verification including digital electronics, Verilog and System Verilog coding. The Students gained hands-on experience in HDL-based design and verification using EDA tools. A D Flip-Flop Testbench Architecture was implemented in parts, consisting of a generator, driver, monitor, checker, mailbox and semaphore for synchronization, and coverage block. This gave the students practical exposure to modern verification environments.
