Inauguration of Yearly Activities
Academic Year 2026-27
The Department of ECE-LICET successfully inaugurated the clubs and professional society Activities for the Academic Year 2026–2027 on 20/07/2026 and the new Office Bearers were assigned. The session on, “Sustainable Engineering for a Healthier Planet” by Mr. Raghavan Sridhar, Change Leader – AI & DevSecOps, Ericsson emphasized the importance of the 4Ws and 1H (What, Why, Where, When, and How) in understanding and solving problems from different perspectives. Video based and hands-on activities were conducted. The students were actively engaged to observe beyond the obvious details while analyzing real-world problems. Through practical examples, he demonstrated how engineering solutions should be optimized not only for technical performance but also for economic feasibility and sustainability.
Academic Year 2025-26
The Department of ECE-LICET successfully inaugurated its Association Activities for the Academic Year 2025–2026 on 24/07/2025. The event featured insightful discussion on telecom trends, industry challenges, career pathways and future prospects for ECE graduates by Guest Speaker Mr.Raman Jankiram from Verizon. He also presented a reflection framework centered on values, adaptability, and staying relevant in an evolving tech landscape. The presence of all the dignitaries, faculty, and students made this event memorable.
SLICE - A National - Level Technical Symposium
SLICE ‘26
The National-Level Technical Symposium, “SLICE ’26” under the banner of TechFest-2K26 was successfully conducted by the Department of ECE (LICET) with an overwhelming registration count of 739 on 08/08/26. The flyer & website design, magazine and promo video represented the digital transformation from vintage to current technology in the field of ECE. The events organized has portrayed the innovative and skillful talents of the students.
SLICE ‘25
Gracefully rising year after year, SLICE ‘25 – The National Level Technical Symposium conducted by the Department of ECE (LICET) on August 23, 2025 had 640 registrations. The external participants from various colleges were excited to participate in the inquisitive events carefully tailored by the students of ECE with passion. It was a memorable event that ended with networking, innovation and smiles.

Guest Lecture
System Representation in Time and Frequency Domains
The Department of ECE-LICET organized a Guest Lecture on, “System Representation in Time and Frequency Domains”, by Prof. Dr. Ragavan K, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Gandhinagar, on 10 July 2026. The session improved the students’ ability to interpret system behavior using time and frequency domain analysis. The lecture demonstrated the application of Laplace and frequency-domain methods in modeling and designing electrical and electronic systems for practical engineering problems. Overall, the session encouraged students to strengthen their analytical skills and pursue continuous learning to meet evolving engineering challenges.
