About us

Electrical Engineers League

Electrical Engineers League (EEL) is a club in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology, Chennai. The club has been active since 2013 and dynamically arranges various activities for the student community. A few activities conducted every year are: Guest Lectures, Industrial Visits, Competitions, Industry Conclave, 

Vision

To transform the students into globally competent engineers, researchers, and entrepreneurs, and thereby contributing value to the technological needs of the society.

Mission

Each member of Electrical Engineer League Professional Society will demonstrate meeting the following outcomes:

  • Enhance the skillset of the engineers through industry institute collaboration;
  • Understand the impact of electrical engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts;
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering to manage projects, design documentation and work as an interdisciplinary team;
  • Develop as young men and women of quality to be leaders in all walks of life.

Achievements

The Club is approved a grant of financial assistance of Rs, 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) towards a project sanctioned under the AICTE – Scheme for Promoting Interests, Creativity and Ethics among Students (SPICES) for the Financial Year 2022-23. Offer of financial assistance is debitable to: Major Head 602.22 (a) General (Non-Plan Head).
